Things are so much easier in Black and White

The fight against Krahs and the shark raiders is intense and prolonged. Nogard's battle against Krahs is fierce, its large dragonic body wrapped around the shark leviathan like a snake as Nogard sinks its poisonous fangs deep into Krahs's flesh. Even as the giant shark thrashes in the water and dives down to try and shake off Nogard, the draconic leviathan stays on. Several of Nogard's scales fall off to explode around Krahs and the shark raiders around it, poisoning the water to further weaken it.

However, because Nogard is keeping Krahs at bay, everyone else had to deal with the raiders on their own. Feats of valor and mighty displays of strength and magic helped to keep the raiders back, even as parts of the land continue to break and sink into the ocean. At some point, warriors of the whalefolk tribe as well as dolphins appeared to help turn the tide. Seeing their allies appear at such a crucial moment helped rally the defenders and victory was surely in sight.

Yet the raiders are relentless, and even Nogard had to release its hold on Krahs after being forced into deeper water than it could handle. That is when something strange started to happen. Those in the water could feel a sudden spike in heat, and warning shouts to swim away come as the water begins to boil and a large shadow rises from the dark depths.

With a sudden eruption of molten lava that burns and melts the shark raiders and their ships, a giant black and red snail emerges from the center, its massive iron shell and body mass displacing the bulk of the raiders. With the appearance of the new leviathan and Krahs heavily injured from its battle against Nogard, the raiders have no choice but to retreat. Seeing this, cheers erupt—especially from the snail temple followers.

"She's here!!" they rejoice, "our beautiful goddess, Liansa!"

As the lava recedes from around Liansa, the "snail goddess" leviathan, it slowly glides through the water towards Elah's island. Lava slowly flows out from its skin like a snail's slime and gathers around the broken and battered land. Although fearful at first, it's soon made clear that as soon as the lava cools, new earth is formed around the land and seeping through the cracks to fill them. With this treatment, the island should be able to last for a little while longer. Once finished, Liansa will slowly sink into the water to later reappear by the volcano on Adoportsag where its extremely devout followers will "quickly" gather to cry over and revel in their goddess's glory.

Although there are many injuries and damages, relief washes over everyone as they feel they can finally take a breath. However, they can't relax for too long. The attack from Krahs once again shows how vulnerable they are without their leviathan. Although efforts will be made to establish a temporary refuge base, they must try and find Elah.

And fortunately, they may have a heading.
