Garrus, it's Cid. Apologies for how long it's taken, but I believe I've managed to recreate your little heat sink, with some improvements. If you don't mind coming to my workshop, I can show you and test it with your weapon.

Might need to refine it still, but it should be functional.

Well, to start with, what was your vessel's purpose? Or perhaps mission, whatever is the appropriate vernacular.

Well... it was a warship. Every time I served onboard, there was some huge crisis or other. Rogue agents, imminent threats of genocide, war to preserve all life in the galaxy - that kind of thing.

There was one time we had to go pick up a data module from a planet populated by... I guess you'd say they were "monkeys". That was weird.

Mostly, I maintained the weaponry, and went planetside on missions with the Commander.

[Normally, if he were having some sort of internal crisis and he needed to speak to someone for clarity, Gale would turn to Karlach— she was his closest friend in this place, of course, but it turned out it was rather hard to ask for advice when the person you would normally turn to was who you needed advice about.
